Role: Art Director Client: Nextel Telecom Job: Design and concept development for the activation of the Basket 3x3 event (half-size basketball) in communities, which are the birthplace of many professional basketball athletes. This impactful project provided low-income communities with access to sports, leisure facilities, and art, while also offering Nextel a valuable opportunity to engage in meaningful conversations with its target audience.
Nextel combined its provocative new brand positioning with street culture, graffiti, rap and of course street basketball.
Using the community's own assets to deliver a sense of belonging and empathy for users.
Creating dynamic, aesthetically interesting and shareable content for this new target.
